Colored Canyon & Snorkelling - 1 Day - Only $99
This tour requires a minimum of 2 participants.
- Collection from your hotel and assistance at the Taba border crossing to Egypt. You will meet your Egyptian
tour guide on the other side of the border.
- After driving south, you will drive off road into the
sandiest Wadi of Southen Sinai. After a short walk, view the whole Wadi with amazing sandstone formations from a beautiful observation point.
- There will be stops on the shore of the Red Sea for unforgettable snorkeling throughout the day.
- Return to the Taba border crossing, and you will be delivered back to your hotel in the evening.
Santa Catherina - 1 Day - Only $99
This tour requires a minimum of 2 participants.
- Collection from your hotel and assistance at the Taba border crossing to Egypt. You will meet your Egyptian
tour guide on the other side of the border.
- Drive along the shores of the Red Sea and then through an ever-changing area of bizarre sandstone formations to the Sinai High Mountain Range.
- Arriving at St. Catherine, visit the famous St. Catherine's Monastery, including the Church, dated back to the 6th Century and never destroyed
since then, "The Burning Bush", and "Jetro's Well".
- After lunch, begin the drive back to Eilat, stopping by a few interesting sites on the way, according to the remaining time.
General Information for trips to Egypt
- You should be ready to go at the exact pick-up time.
- Have passports & cash for the border fees with you,
and eat breakfast before you go!
- Passport control on both borders can take from 30 mins to 1.5 hrs.
- You can use dollars, Euros and even shekels in Egypt, but only bills, not coins. You are better off exchanging money in Israel to the local currency - the Egyptian Pound.
- Every person holding an Israeli passport MUST use the Israeli passport to cross the border.
- Your English-speaking guide will be waiting for you on
the Egyptian side of the border.
- Lunch is included.
- Border taxes are not included ($27).
- Hire of snorkelling equipment is not included ($8).
- Tips are not included.
